About the organization

is an initiative that was created by the United Nations in 2010 and aligns institutions of higher education with the UN in supporting and contributing to the realization of United Nations goals, including the promotion and protection of human rights, access to education, sustainability and conflict resolution. UNAI has created a diverse network of students, academics, scientists, researchers, and institutions of higher education and continuing education, also there are over 1200 member institutions in more than 120 countries.
