About the organization

Valerie Wood was born in Yorkshire and now lives in Beverley. She is the author of The Hungry Tide, winner of the Catherine Cookson Prize for Fiction and has been a published author for 25 years. Val has written 24 novels including her latest, A Place to Call Home.
