A French university located in Poitiers, Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, in southern France. The university campus accommodated more than 28,000 students in 2017. The University of Poitiers is one of the oldest universities in France, having been established in 1431 by Charles VII of France, and the university is also a member of the Confederate University Leonard da Vinci.
