Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) is a national private university in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It was established 8 July 1945. As a pioneer of higher education in Indonesia, UII is deep-rooted in the tradition of academic freedom with which diversity of ideas is highly appreciated.
