Transdisciplinary Experimental Slovenian Art Award

About the organization

TESLA Award is a new competition focusing on new and progressive art forms in the field of transdisciplinary or intermedia art. Its mission is to provide optimal conditions for selected artists to research, produce and present an entirely new artwork under the mentorship of Museum of Transitory Art (MoTA) and each year’s partners. This year TESLA partners with Artbat Fest in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and Bellastock from Paris, to support two public space works to be installed in Almaty. TESLA awards new ideas which are yet to be produced. In this regard, TESLA Award acts as a motivator for the realization of great ideas that would otherwise be difficult to complete. By offering a cash prize, travel costs, and production support TESLA aims to empower emerging creators on their way to a professional career and to bring new ideas to light.
