The Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH) was founded in 1969 at the University of Edinburgh, for visiting fellows to engage in study and research in the arts, humanities and social sciences.It is one of the world's premier Institutes for Advanced Study that supports innovative research and public engagement activities across the arts, humanities and social sciences through a range of interdisciplinary and international projects and programmes.
