About the organization

The Hans and Ilse Breuer Foundation was established in 2000 by Hans Breuer, a businessman. An important impetus for the creation of the Foundation stemmed from the painful experience when the family Breuer itself encountered Alzheimer’s disease. Both the burden and difficulties in dealing with the disease and its symptoms, as well as the feeling of being helpless, led Breuer and his family to tackle the issue and to get involved in the fight against Alzheimer and other dementia-related diseases.
