About the organization

Located in a city with centuries of ceramic tradition, the Talavera School of Art, with he support of the Consejería de Educación, Cultura y Deportes de Castilla la Mancha, has provided intermediate and advanced studies in artistic ceramics for more than thirty years. More recently, studies in photography, graphic disign and bachillerato have been incorporated.For years the school has drawn professionals from countries that have a ceramic tradition such as England, Taiwan, Japan, Canada, Mexico and the United States. Artists have had an opportunity to develop their work as well as share their experience and knowledge with students, faculty and the entire community in Talavera de la Reina.
