The Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research oversees the higher education sector in Jordan through the Council of Higher Education, which sets the general policy for the higher education sector, the scientific research support fund, the accreditation body of the higher education institutions, and the technical and administrative staff of the ministry that contain a number of administrations which support work and advance the level of higher education in Jordan through specialized scientific committees that study all certificates issued by non-Jordanian higher education institutions and their recognition and equivalence and ratification of all documents issued.
