Maharat

About the organization

Maharat is a non governmental foundation concerned with media issues, freedom of speech and expression, was founded by a group of Lebanese journalists to defend the freedom of press and to work on developing the media. It's also a member of the International Network of the Free Exchange of Information, which combines of 90 organisation concerned with the freedom of speech around the world, and it's a partner in their campaign that defends the prisoners, who were jailed because of their opinions, in the Arab world.
