About the organization

Khalifa University for Science, Technology, and Research is an independent, non-profit university based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Khalifa University Was founded in February 2007 and started teaching in October 2008. The university has one campus in Abu Dhabi and the other in Sharjah was known as the College of Communication University. The University was established by Decree No. 2 of 2007 issued by Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, in his capacity as Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The University strives to promote research and innovation in the UAE by focusing on science and technology.
