About the organization

The International Basketball Foundation (IBF) was founded in 2008 by FIBA, the International Basketball Federation. It is a social, education and legacy arm of the federation that address the role of sports and particularly basketball in society, preserving and promoting basketball’s values and its cultural heritage. It aims to promote, organize, manage, support and develop all sporting for the benefit of basketball, in addition to supporting social and humanitarian development programs through this sport.
