About the organization

The Institute for Equality in Development Innovations (I-EDI) is dedicated to promoting equality and development through action-oriented research tied to grassroots initiatives. Since 2006, I-EDI has focused on amplifying marginalized voices and fostering a more just and interconnected society. The institute bridges the gap between grassroots action research and transnational early-career scholars, utilizing indigenous perspectives to guide open-access publishing while adhering to ethical standards. Equality: the Review is a platinum open-access journal that publishes peer-reviewed research on complex systems of inequality, including environmental, health, economic, racial, and other forms of inequality. The journal accepts submissions in both English and Mandarin and aims to drive global development conversations with a focus on inclusivity.
