About the organization

Bread for the World is a collective urging its nation’s decision-makers to end hunger at home and abroad. By changing policies, programs, and conditions that allow hunger and poverty to persist, they provide help and opportunity far beyond the communities where we live. Bread’s goal is to help end hunger by 2030. It believes that everyone must play a part in ending hunger, especially the federal government. It works to change the policies and conditions that allow hunger to persist. Bread seeks long-term solutions to hunger and advocates on legislation that addresses the root causes of hunger.
