About the organization
The Aarhus School of Architecture was founded in 1965 in Aarhus, Denmark. Along with the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture in Copenhagen, it is responsible for the education of architects in Denmark. The school has a student population of approximately 700 and employs a staff of around 130. Aarhus School of Architecture offers an academic education centered around three approaches to architecture: artistic, scientific, and a practice-based. The school provides teaching at Bachelor, Master and PhD level within architecture and areas related to the architectural profession. It also offers a range of continuing education and specialised courses aimed at qualified architects and designers.
