The "Zhejiang Normal University Scholarship for Outstanding Students" is established to attract more excellent international students to study at Zhejiang Normal University, to create a favorable international cultural environment on campus, and to enhance the university’s global reputation. The scholarship also aims to encourage international students to work hard and achieve comprehensive academic and personal development.
Scholarship Categories
Type A: Full tuition fee coverage (no monthly stipend).
Type B: Half tuition fee coverage (no monthly stipend).
Type C: Financial support of 4500 RMB.
Available study levels: Undergraduate, Master's, and Doctoral programs.
Application Procedures
Applications must be submitted online through the official university system: http://admission.zjnu.edu.cn before July 30, 2025.
Zhejiang Normal University will review applicant qualifications and select candidates according to the university’s selection procedures.
Admitted students must pay a registration fee of 400 RMB or 70 USD.
Admission documents, including the JW202 form and the Admission Notice, will be issued to successful applicants.
Eligibility criteria
Basic Requirements
- For undergraduate programs: Applicants must be under 30 years old and possess a high school diploma.
- For master’s programs: Applicants must be under 35 years old and hold a bachelor's degree, along with two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors.
- For doctoral programs: Applicants must be under 40 years old and hold a master's degree, along with two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors.
Additional Requirements
- Applicants must be of good character, physically healthy, hold foreign nationality, and possess a valid passport.
- Applicants must respect Chinese laws and university regulations.
- Applicants applying for Chinese-taught programs must provide HSK certificates or equivalent proof of Chinese proficiency.
- Applicants applying for English-taught programs must submit IELTS, TOEFL, GRE certificates, or equivalent proof of English proficiency.
- Applicants should not be recipients of any other scholarships.
