Applications are now open for the YSEALI Professional Fellows Program 2025! If you’re a young professional leader seeking an international platform to refine your skills and expand your capabilities, this is your perfect opportunity. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, this fully funded exchange program invites young professionals from Southeast Asia to participate in a 5-week fellowship in the USA.
The YSEALI Professional Fellows Program offers an exceptional chance to work with leading organizations and institutions, gaining valuable professional experience in your field. It also provides an invaluable international networking opportunity, allowing fellows to connect with peers from various countries, exchange ideas, and build enduring relationships. This program is designed to foster lasting and impactful partnerships between Southeast Asia and the United States, enhancing both personal and professional growth.

- YSEALI PFP 2025 will cover all travel expenses of the fellows.
- This fellowship will also cover living expenses.
- The exchange program will also cover all the costs related to the visa process.

Eligibility for YSEALI Professional
- Fellows must be between 25-35 years old while applying for the fully funded YSEALI PFP.
- Applicants must have demonstrated proficiency in English speaking and writing.
- Applicants must be citizens of the eligible eleven YSEALI countries.
- In addition, they should demonstrate leadership skills and abilities and the capacity for collaborative work.
- Fellows should be emerging leaders in civil society, government or the private sector with expertise in their theme.
- Applicants must have relevant two years of work experience at least.
- Applicants should be culturally adaptable and self-directed.
- Applicants should be able to identify and create a project to implement in their community.
- U.S. citizens are not eligible for this program.

- Three Essay Questions (addressing your motivation)
- Two Professional References
- Participant Terms and Conditions Agreement (Signed Copy)
- American Councils Informed Consent Agreement (Signed Copy)
