Volunteer opportunities in the UAE from the Community Development Authority: Organizing the Dubai Mall chapels

The Community Development Authority invites you to get one of the volunteer opportunities in the UAE; Organizing the Dubai Mall chapels. This opportunity is organized by Ataa Hamdan Emirates Volunteering Team, in cooperation with Emaar Volunteering Company, which is organizing the Dubai Mall chapels for times 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Asr, Maghrib, and Isha prayers).

You will be responsible for:

• Organizing the entry of worshipers into the chapels, taking precautionary measures.

You must follow the following terms:

1. The presence of (9) males + (2) females per day.
2. Commitment to the official dress (Kandora and Ghutra and the agal (for females) (abaya and sheila).
3. Commitment to attend and leave.
4. Implement the instructions issued by the supervisors.
5. To be registered with the Authority.
6. The agreement between you and the volunteer organization is valid.
7. That you have received adequate training, and that your volunteer work does not exceed the work you have trained upon.
8. That the Volunteer Work you undertake is in good faith, with the aim of carrying out the Volunteer Work specified in the Volunteering Agreement, and not to receive any reward or personal benefit.
9. There shall not be any kind of negligence or error on your part.
10. The volunteer agreement ends in any of the following cases:

• The end of the Volunteer Work or the expiration of the Volunteer Agreement term.
• One of the parties to the Volunteer Agreement notifies the other party of its desire to terminate the Volunteering Agreement while it is still in force, provided that such notification is in writing and takes place within a reasonable period before the expiry of the period specified in the Volunteer Agreement.
• A breach by one of the parties to the agreement of its obligations stipulated in the volunteering agreement.
• Death or illness that prevents you from doing volunteer work.
• Being sentenced to a custodial penalty pursuant to a final court ruling.

About Community Development Authority(CDA):

 The Community Development Authority (CDA) was founded by a decree of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai in July 2008. CDA is responsible for setting up and developing a framework for social development and aims to achieve the goals outlined in the Dubai Strategic Plans.
