You can volunteer with vegGo if you are fluent in at least one language. Whether you are interested in translating medical texts or translating for environmental response, there are engaging projects available to suit all preferences. Professional translators are especially encouraged to apply.
Duties & responsibilities
- Attend meetings or appointments when available to interpret the information communicated
- Converting text and audio recordings in one language to one or more others
- Ensuring translated texts conveys original meaning and tone
- read carefully and interpret accurate information without adding opinions or judgment
- Reading material and researching – terminology
Eligibility criteria
- Must be able to speak English and another language well
- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
- Good knowledge of content editing tools
- Ability to work to deadlines
- A clear writing style with an impeccable knowledge of spelling and grammar
- Attention to detail
- A degree is not always necessary, as long as the required fluency in the specified language(s) can be proven
