Training for Youth in Social Entrepreneurship for Youth Employability from Salto Youth

SALTO Youth is helding a training in Trabzon in the Black Sea  region for youth around the world. The training program is titled “Social Entrepreneurship for Youth Employability with an aim to promote among youth workers and concerned professionals a better understanding of social entrepreneurship and the interest in and motivation for social business as a tool to tackle unemployment and increase social commitment. The aim of this training course is to raise awareness of social entrepreneurship and its ecosystem in Europe through designing innovative business models.

Program Objectives:-

• To inform and raise awareness among participants about the characteristics, benefits, values and factors for success of social entrepreneurship, as a catalyst for youth employability.
• To introduce participants to the social business model and its values (social economy, circular economy, social impact, impact investment, sustainable development goals and sustainable economy).
• To develop the competences of youth workers in designing and implementing social entrepreneurship ideas as innovative ways for tackling social problems.
• To motivate youth workers and other relevant actors in order to undertake and utilise social entrepreneurship as a force for youth employability.
• To promote entrepreneurship and European policies and activities in the field of social economy.

• Participation fee
• This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. 
• The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.
• Accommodation and food
• Unless specified otherwise, the hosting NA or SALTO of this offer will organise the accommodation and cover the costs for accommodation and food.
• Travel reimbursement
• Please contact your NA or SALTO in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.

• Salto Youth is looking for 40 participants with the following profiles:

• Professionals from the following backgrounds are required: 
• Non-formal education/Youth. 
• Higher education. 
• Vocational education & training. 
• Employment support agencies, job centres, job clubs, job coaches. 
• Employers. 
• Coaches. 
• Formal Education Professionals. 
• Employment counselors, etc.

About SALTO Youth:-

SALTO Youth is a network of six Resource Centres working on European priority areas within the youth field. As part of the European Commission's Training Strategy, SALTO-YOUTH provides non-formal learning resources for youth workers and youth leaders and organises training and contact-making activities to support organizations and National Agencies. SALTO Youth does this through organizing training programs and design labs; collating information and providing analyses on youth participation; offering new and smart tools and solutions and relevant resources that support the participation and genuine involvement of young people.
