Opportunity description

The Caterpillar, a print magazine for children featuring poetry, short stories and art, organizes a poetry competition.

The prize is for unpublished poems written by an adult for children aged 7–11. The poems can be on any subject. There is no line limit. Entries must be in English.

Entry fee: €15 per poem.

Prizes:

  • 1st prize: €1,000 plus a week at Circle of Misse
  • 2nd prize: €500
  • 3rd prize: €250
