International Volunteer HQ invites all self-motivated volunteers to participate in the Summer Outreach project in China. This <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Volunteer-Work" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">volunteer opportunity</a> will run during the school holidays in July and August, aiming to keep students learning. Outreach programs typically operate with students aged between 10-18, with up to 30-40 students per class and few teachers. So, you can give local teachers a hand and improve the standard of education, especially in English classes.

You can give local teachers a hand and improve the standard of education, especially in English classes through:<ul><li>Helping to run the class.</li><li>Taking responsibility for planning and implementing lessons.&nbsp;</li><li>Most students have only a basic understanding of English so you can expect to be teaching simple words and phrases, with a focus on teaching correct pronunciation.</li><li>Teaching volunteer work can vary but generally includes:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Teaching English language classes</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Lesson planning</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Helping with language skills and pronunciation</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Talking and connecting with students</li></ul>
