Sports & Arts With Refugees Volunteer Program in Greece

International Volunteer HQ is offering Arts and Sports Volunteer Program in Greece.

Duration:

• From 4 - 12 weeks
• Up to 5 hours volunteers a day

• Learning about how host centers for refugees operate
• Directly helping young refugees learn new skills and build bonds
• Developing your communication skills
• Gaining sports and arts educational experience
• Immersing yourself in Greek culture
• Discovering the ancient history of Athens

• Volunteers need to be 18 years or over to participate in this program. 
• Volunteers must speak fluent English. 
• All volunteers are required to have adequate volunteer travel insurance and provide a recent criminal background check to International Volunteer HQ after registering on the program.

About the project:

International Volunteer HQ’s Sports & Arts with Refugees project is based in a host center in Athens that provides a safe space for teen and young adult refugees to socialize, learn new skills and enjoy hobbies together. By volunteering with refugees in Greece, you’ll help young people connect with each other, express themselves, and gain different perspectives and experiences.
