Luminus Technical University College (LTUC) , in cooperation with the Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair School of Advanced Computing (ASAC), is offering a scholarship in information technology to get a BTEC International Level 2 Certificate. BTEC International Level 2 Certificate is an internationally accredited certificate by Pearson and aims to equip learners with work-related qualifications to land vocational jobs after graduation. The duration of the program is 9-months, with a part-time schedule.
Benefits
- The BTEC International Level 2 Certificate in Information Technology will assist learners in learning and practicing vocational disciplines focused on topics such as IT support, installing computer hardware and software, business IT skills, networks, security, and more.
- The program provides learners the opportunity to enter employment in the IT sector or to progress to vocational qualifications such as:
- IT Call Center Agent.
- Technical Call Center Agent.
- IT Technician.
Eligibility criteria
- The applicant should be 18-24 years old. People born in and before 1997 will not be accepted.
- The Educational Attainment to be accepted is Tawjihi Certificate (Pass) in Scientific, Industrial and IT streams (candidates who have a degree higher than Tawjihi will not be accepted).
- The applicant should be unemployed or a part-time employee with no social security.
- Eligible Nationalities:
- Jordanians: Priority goes to National Aid Card (exception may be granted if the applicant doesn’t have one and can prove a low household income)
- Other nationalities in Jordan with UNHCR card.

Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair School of Advanced Computing (ASAC) part of Luminus Technical University College (LTUC) is focused on providing its students with career-focused education; teaching and training with industry-relevant content. LTUC/ASAC currently provides three academic programs. The first is a Bachelor’s degree in Cloud Computing; a certificate approved by the Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair School of Advanced Computing (ASAC) at Luminus Technical University College (LTUC) and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The second is an academic program in BTEC in Computing; a two-year British diploma by Pearson Education with three different paths; Software engineering, Cyber Security, and Artificial Intelligence. The third is a short course program in software development, powered by Code Fellows Academy in Seattle – US.
