Opportunity description
The Patient Care Advocacy Academy offers fellowships to 15 committed advocates, allowing them to participate in interactive workshops to enhance their advocacy skills. The Academy, organized by the International AIDS Society (IAS) and the Centre for Infectious Disease Research Zambia (CIDRZ) in collaboration with Gilead Sciences, targets individuals from Central, East, Southern and West Africa.
The Academy aims to provide a comprehensive learning experience that combines theoretical knowledge with practical applications, enhancing participants’ ability to implement effective advocacy strategies. Participants will benefit from experts in the field, with opportunities to network with other advocates.
By the end of the fellowship, advocates will be equipped with the tools to make a positive impact on patient care, contributing to building a community that supports and inspires each other in improving care services in Africa.
