The German Government is offering the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue Media Fellowship 2025. Every year, high-level participants from politics, industry, science and civil society gather in Berlin for two days to discuss the shift to a sustainable energy system.
This BETD Media Fellowship allows young journalists from around the world to come together in the German capital in order to participate in this exclusive conference, talk to high-ranking stakeholders from science, politics, industry and civil society as well as to connect with other BETD Media Fellows from all over the world and strengthen international energy journalism.

Eligibility criteria
- The application is available for young journalists from around the world.
Required Documents:
- A motivation letter explaining why you would like to participate in the BETD media fellowship program (200 to 300 words).
- A comprehensive CV containing your personal information and indicating your experience and knowledge on energy related topics.
- Two samples (in one PDF file) of your journalistic work in English language. A translation is also accepted.
