Partially Funded Scholarships in Australia for all Majors at Newman College in the University of Melbourne

The University of Melbourne invites students from all over the world for six scholarships that are endowed by James and Penny Gorman in memory of former Collegian, Kevin Gorman. These scholarships offer up to $5000 in College fee remission at Newman College.

• If you have been admitted for this scholarship, you will get:
• College fee remission of $2000 to $5000.

Please note: your award is ongoing, provided the College is satisfied with your performance. 

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be:

1. successfully enrolled in the University of Melbourne.
2. a resident at Newman College.
3. Preference is given to students from regional or rural Australia.

Please note:

• All students who apply to be a resident at Newman College are automatically considered. 
• At your interview for Newman College, scholarships will be discussed. Confirmation of the outcome will be communicated after applicants receive an offer from Newman College.
