The University of Poitiers in France is offering Masters Scholarships funded in collaboration with Erasmus Mundus in Sustainable Catalysis to chemistry students from all over the world.

- 9 scholarships for partner country students
Schlarships for 2022-2024:
- 3 scholarships for program country students
- 7 scholarships for partner country students
Scholarship Worth for Partner Countries Students:
- Contribution to SuCat participation costs:18 000€ (2-year full-time Master’s degree).
- 2 000€/year if place of residence is less than 4 000km from SuCat Coordinator (University of Poitiers).
- 3 000€/year if place of residence is more than 4 000km from SuCat Coordinator (University of Poitiers).
- Contribution to installation costs: 1 000€ in one payment (covers 2 years).
- Living allowance (max. 24 months): 1 000€/month
Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must hold a Euro bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or similar studies. Having obtained a minimum of 180 ECTS prior to the beginning of the course and have a good knowledge in English.
- The application must be submitted in English.
Selection Procedure:
- Pre-selection: applicants submit their electronic file to the programme coordinating institution for administrative checking and validation (e. that all documents are certified and correctly translated).
- A first analysis will be performed using the following criterion 1) Academic records (30%); 2) Scientific background (20%); 3) Recommendation letters (10%); 4) Level of English (20%) and 5) Practical experience (20%).
- Interview of shortlisted candidates. A shortlist determines students that will be interviewed by evaluators. The interview will last 30-40 minutes is designed to explore candidates’ motivation to study on the SuCat course, their critical thinking skills and understanding of social work issues. Candidates will also be able to ask questions about the SuCat programme.
- The students will be informed of their selection on the 15th of April 2022.
