Opportunity description

The University of Bradford is accepting applications for International Relations, Politics and Security Studies Undergraduate Scholarship. In the run up to celebrating in 2023, the Golden Jubilee of the founding of the UK's first Peace Studies Department, the University is thrilled to be able to offer a scholarship that will benefit all undergraduate applicants, both international and home that enrol on the course: BA International Relations, Politics and Security Studies

Benefits

  1. International Students will be awarded a scholarship by means of a 50% fee reduction. For students starting in the 22/23 academic year, this will mean that their tuition fee will be £8,870 per year.
  2. Home Students will be awarded a scholarship by means of a cash payment of £3,000 -  (paid in three instalments in November, March and June)


Eligibility criteria

  1. All self-funding students that take up their place on the course will be awarded the respective scholarship.
  2. Students awarded the scholarship are expected to be fully engaged with their study – demonstrated through course attendance and submission of work. The University reserves the right to withdraw this scholarship if it is deemed that students aren’t sufficiently engaging with their course. Recipients may be required to repay the scholarship amount.
  3. Applicable courses: BA International Relations, Politics and Security Studies
  4. Eligible countries: Students from all countries, who meet the criteria, are eligible.

The University of Bradford is a public research university located in the city of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. A plate glass university, it received its royal charter in 1966, making it the 40th university to be created in Britain, but can trace its origins back to the establishment of the industrial West Yorkshire town's Mechanics Institute in 1832.
