Opportunity description

The University of New Brunswick is offering UNB scholarships 2022 for students all over the world. Students admitted to a bachelor degree program full time in the fall are eligible to apply.

Available Scholarships:-

  • Entrance Scholarship.
  •  Beaverbrook Scholars Award.
  • Three New Brunswick students will receive the Beaverbrook Scholars Award valued at $50,000. 
  • Beaverbrook Scholars must demonstrate academic excellence, leadership qualities, extra-curricular involvement and financial need.
  •  Loran Scholars Foundation - up to $100,000
  • The Loran Award is a scholarship for students who exemplify leadership and strive to make a difference in their local and global communities.
  •  Project Hero Award

Benefits

  • The Entrance scholarship support ranges from $500 to $100,000. 
  • In addition to the entrance scholarship, the other scholarships provide the following fund:
  •  Beaverbrook Scholars Award:  $50,000
  •  Loran Scholars Foundation: up to $100,000
  • Up to 36 awards are given out annually. 
  • Each Loran Award consists of a stipend and tuition waiver (up to $10,000), which is renewable for up to four years, plus internship opportunities, mentorship and more.

Eligibility criteria

  • Scholarships are awarded primarily on your grades (scholarship average) with preference given to students who have an 80% scholarship average and above. 
  • Some scholarships have additional conditions, such as financial need, extracurricular activities, the high school you attended, etc. This additional scholarship criteria reflects the goals and values of the donor.
  • In order to be eligible for scholarship funding in the upcoming year, a student must complete a minimum of 24 credit hours in the previous assessment year. 
  • If there are extenuating circumstances, it would be best to discuss your situation with the Undergraduate Awards Office first.
