Emory University offers partial to full merit-based scholarships as part of the Emory University Scholar Programs. Scholar programs are more than just merit scholarships, they empower students through resources and support to reach their full potential and make an impact on the university and the world.
Scholarship Types:-
The scholarship has three admission decision plans:
- Early Decision I.
- Early Decision I is a binding program that allows you to learn of your admission decision early in your senior year.
- Early Decision II.
- Early Decision II is a binding program that allows you to learn of your admission decision by February 15.
- Regular Decision.
- Regular Decision is a traditional application plan that is nonbinding.
Benefits
The merit-based scholarship ranges between partial to full funding awarded on the basis of individual achievement.
Eligibility criteria
- Early Decision Plan:
- The Early Decision I agreement is required and must be signed by the student, parent/guardian, and school counselor.
- Students can apply Early Decision to Oxford College, Emory College, or both. If you are accepted to both Oxford College and Emory College, you can choose which campus to attend.
- If you apply Early Decision to both Oxford College and Emory College, and you are admitted Early Decision to only one of the campuses, you will need to pay your admission deposit to that school.
- Regular Decision Plan:
- You may apply Regular Decision to Emory College, Oxford College, or both. If you are accepted to both, you can choose which campus to attend.
- You may apply Early Decision to one campus and Regular Decision to the other. It's possible to be denied from one campus in Early Decision and admitted to the other in Regular Decision.
- Scholarships are renewable for a total of eight regular academic year semesters of undergraduate study, provided students maintain high standards of personal and academic excellence and meet semester and annual requirements of their program (details provided upon acceptance).
