Opportunity description
United Nations Volunteers programme is offering an online volunteer opportunity: Video Editing.
Duration:
6 weeks/ 6 -10 hours
Duties & responsibilities
The online volunteer will:
- Combine and edit 20 videos of 20 seconds to 60 seconds video clips into one clear, engaging 20-30 minute video.
- Cut unnecessary or repetitive content.
- Adjust audio levels for consistency and clarity.
- Add background music, ensuring it does not overpower the narration.
- Record a brief introduction for the video, explaining its purpose.
- Write and record a closing voiceover, summarizing key points and encouraging viewer interaction (e.g., like, comment, subscribe).
- Submit the final edited video in a YouTube-friendly format (e.g., MP4, 1080p resolution).
- Provide a brief description for the video to be used in the YouTube description section.
Eligibility criteria
Required experience:
- Experience in video editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Good audio recording and mixing skills.
- Ability to integrate voiceover scripts Familiarity with YouTube video formats and best practices.
- Good audio recording skills.
Languages:
- English, Level: Mother tongue, Desirable
