Opportunity description
United Nations Volunteers programme is offering an online volunteer opportunity: Video Editing.
Duration:
4 weeks/ 11 -15 hours
Duties & responsibilities
- Editing 15–20 short videos into 1–2 minute polished videos.
- The online volunteer's responsibilities will include:
- Combining and editing 20 video clips (each 20–30 seconds) into a single, clear, and engaging 60-90 second video.
- Removing unnecessary or repetitive content.
- Adjusting audio levels to ensure consistency and clarity.
- Adding background music that complements the video without overpowering the narration.
- Recording a brief introduction, explaining the purpose of the video.
- Writing and recording a closing voiceover that summarizes key points and encourages viewer interaction (e.g., like, comment, subscribe).
- Submitting the final edited video in a social media-friendly format (e.g., MP4, 1080p resolution).
Eligibility criteria
Required experience:
- The candidates should have professional experience in video editing/production with previous experience.
- In addition, they should have good verbal and written communication skills.
- A degree in graphic design or a related field is considered an asset.
Languages:
- English, Level: Working knowledge, Required
- Ukrainian, Level: Fluent, Desirable
