UN Volunteers is announcing an online volunteer opportunity to interpret Turkish Sign Language (TİD) for social media videos to contribute to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3).
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Using Turkish Sign Language (TİD) to interpret the submitted text (approximately 2-3 minutes).
- Recording the translation on video in a clear, professional and well-lit environment.
- Delivering the final video file in MP4 format by the deadline.
- Cooperating with the project coordinator via email or virtual meetings to ensure that the work is aligned with the campaign objectives.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Proficiency in Turkish Sign Language (TİD).
- Previous experience in sign language interpretation.
- Access to video recording equipment and a quiet, well-lit space to record.
- The ability to deliver professional quality videos and meet required deadlines.
- Fluency in Turkish.
- Working knowledge of English.
