Opportunity description
FilmFreeway announces an online film competition called “TAKT Film Fest”, which is an international film festival that combines the world of film and music. The focus of the festival is on films that use music as a key element and films that celebrate diversity. The main idea of the festival is to bring films and music together in pieces that blend them in different ways and create a cohesion that can elevate both arts and bring people together. This festival is an annual live show held in Novi Sad, Serbia, and lasts for four days.
Benefits
- The first place winner will receive a certificate and a trophy. If the winners are unable to collect the prize in person, the festival will send it via the post office.
- For the winning films in the films focusing on the value of diversity:
- The first place winner will receive a certificate and a cup.
- The second place winner will receive a certificate.
- The third place winner will receive a certificate.
- The owner of the best sound design will receive a certificate.
- For the winning films in the Music Documentary Films section:
- The first place winner will receive a certificate and a cup.
- The second place winner will receive a certificate.
- The third place winner will receive a certificate.
- The owner of the best sound design in a music documentary will receive a certificate.
- For winning films in the music video section with a duration of up to 10 minutes:
- The first place winner will receive a certificate and a cup.
- The second place winner will receive a certificate.
- The third place winner will receive a certificate.
- For winning films in the Short Creative Works section with a duration of up to 15 minutes:
- The first place winner will receive a certificate and a cup.
- The second place winner will receive a certificate.
- The third place winner will receive a certificate.
- The owner of the best sound design will receive a certificate.
Eligibility criteria
- This competition mainly focuses on works that focus on music and social issues.
- Filmmakers from all over the world can apply for this competition.
- You can submit as many films as you wish, provided that you do not submit the same film twice.
- Participating films must be no more than two years old (starting January 1st of the current year).
- Participating works will be accepted regardless of their language, but if they are not in English or Serbian, a translation into Serbian or English must be provided in the case of participation in the films section that focuses on the value of diversity or the music documentaries section. As for music videos, there is no need for translation.
- The application fee will not be refunded if you decide to withdraw from the festival whether your film is selected or not.
- You must have all rights to your participating work.
- Your film will not be published anywhere without your permission, but the Festival may use part of the film, a trailer (no more than 30 seconds) or the entire film for promotional purposes, as well as posters and other promotional materials provided by the Festival.
