Opportunity description
Instructables announces an online contest for outdoor projects and ideas called The Yard, which aims to motivate you to make something unique and functional for your patio, BBQ or garden, from fire pits to flower arrangements, so grab your tools and be creative.
Benefits
- 19 winners will be selected for this competition.
- Finalists will be selected on or about June 30, 2023, and winners will be announced by Sponsor on or about July 4, 2023.
- The following prizes will be awarded if the winner is a resident of the United States:
- The grand prize winner (one winner) will receive:
- $500 gift card.
- The first prize winner (3 winners) will receive:
- $300 gift card
- The second prize winners (5 winners) will receive:
- $100 gift card
- Also, 10 winners will receive:
- $50 gift card
- The grand prize winner (one winner) will receive:
- The winner (if the winner is a resident of any other eligible country) will receive a Tango Card which will be converted from the applicable estimated value of the prize in US dollars into the local currency of the winner's country of residence at the time of the result. Tango cards are subject to the third party terms applicable to that card. You can find additional information about this card here.
- The Grand Prize Winner will receive $500 of purchases (Currency Converter).
- The first prize winner will receive $300 of purchases (currency converter).
- The second prize winner will receive $100 of purchases (currency converter).
- Special prize winners will receive $50 of purchases (currency converter).
- The total value of all prizes to be awarded in the competition is $2,400. (currency converter)
Eligibility criteria
- You must be at least thirteen (13) years old.
- You must not be a resident of any country or region subject to a US trade embargo (such as in September 2017 North Korea, Syria, Sudan, Cuba, Iran and the crime zone) as well as: Brazil, Italy, Argentina, Turkey, Romania, Poland, Russia or the Province of Quebec, Canada.
- You must have your parent or legal guardian's permission to participate in this Contest, and must agree to be bound by these Rules as if they were an entrant, if you are a "minor" on the Contest start date, which means you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction .
- You do not need to purchase or pay any fees to participate in the Contest or become a registered member of the Site, and no purchase or payment, including choosing to purchase an "Instructables Pro" or other paid membership, will improve your chances of winning in any way.
- The judges have the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these rules, and in the event that the winning entry is disqualified, the next entry with the highest score will be chosen as the winner instead.
- The competition is entirely dependent on the contestants' skills and is not in any way based on chance.
