Opportunity description

Worldpackers announces a volunteer work in Jordan to help a sustainable project. You will help with the farm duties, office tasks, and housekeeping. This would include helping with the harvesting and packaging of dates. Irrigating the farm. Joining this volunteer gives you a unique chance to contribute to building a better and more sustainable future for all.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

25 hours of help per week.
Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.
Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds, and help in outside tasks.
Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens.
Attending to guests at the farm, helping with permaculture, help with housekeeping including cooking.
Also, helping with online updates on social media and the website.

Eligibility criteria

You must follow the following criteria:

Between 18 and 50 years old.
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners).

Please note:

There are two shifts - one in the morning and one in the evening.
Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation, and Visa are not included.
