Coding Competition and a Chance to Win 15,000 USD from Google

Google is calling everyone who are passionate about coding and programming language for a competition; Google Code Jam 2022, in its 19th year. It is Google's longest running global coding competition, where programmers of all levels put their skills to the test. Competitors work their way through a series of online algorithmic puzzles to earn a spot at the World Finals. Join the Code Jam community and you'll have a chance to earn the coveted title of Code Jam Champion and win $15,000 USD.

If you are a finalist, Google will pay for: 

• certain expenses related to your travel to and from and participation in the Final Round.
• round-trip air transportation from the major airport nearest your residence on a flight selected by Google.
• hotel accommodations for one (1) person at a hotel of Google’s choice. 
• reimburse you for any visa application fee and up to $100 USD in travel expenses incurred each way in obtaining the visa. 
• reimburse you for the cost of your meals up to $30 USD per day for the duration of your stay.

If you are among the winners, you will have:

• Code Jam T-Shirt. 
• Code Jam Cash Prizes:
• 1st Place: $15,000 USD
• 2nd Place: $2,000 USD
• 3rd Place: $1,000 USD
• 4th—25th Place: $100 USD

You must follow the following criteria:

• You must be at least (18) years old or the age of majority in your country of residence at the time you register for the CJ Contest to be eligible to participate in the Final Round.
• You may use any editor or development environment, including those made available online, as long as your code is not accessible to others during the Round.
• You may use any programming language(s) available on the CJ Contest website for each solution you wish to submit. 
• For each problem, you must submit the source code for your solution through the CJ Contest website.
• Your source code must be a single file that is able to run, and may not exceed 100KB.
• The system may reject submissions if you make too many within a short window of time. 
• Your score for each Round is the sum of the points earned for primary submissions on problems in that Round.
• Contestants will be ranked in order of highest score first and lowest score last.
• You should arrive at the location of the Final Round at least one (1) day in advance of the Final Round to avoid being late and possibly disqualified. 
• To remain eligible to participate in the Final Round of the CJ Contest and to receive a prize, you must attend all mandatory organized events.
• All events related to the Final Round are open only to contestants, except that you may bring a guest to events as permitted by Google.

Competition Structure:

The CJ Contest consists of five (5) rounds. All rounds other than the Final Round will be conducted online. 

• Qualification Round: will start on April 1, 2022 and end on April 3, 2022.
• Round 1: is offered in three (3) sub-rounds: Round 1A, Round 1B, and Round 1C from April 9, 2022 to April 30, 2022.
•  Round 2: will begin on May 14, 2022 and will end on May 14, 2022 . 
• Round 3: will begin on June 4, 2022 and will end on June 4, 2022.
• You will advance to the Final Round of Code Jam if you are ranked between 1st and 25th place from Code Jam Round 3.
•  Final Round: will be held on August 6, 2022.
