King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) Scholarships are now available for students all over the world. KAUST is a graduate research university of science and technology renowned by global benchmarks.
Benefits
- You must hold a Bachelor's/Master's degree in a field of study relevant to the University's academic curriculum and have completed your studies before the semester in which you are enrolled at the University.
- Your current field of study should be in one of the disciplines relevant to the university's academic curriculum such as engineering, mathematics or the physical, chemical and biological sciences.
- There is no specific minimum GPA requirement. However, most candidates must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or more out of an overall 4 or equivalent from other global assessment systems. The current GPA for admitted students is 3.7 out of 4 overall.
- KAUST requires a minimum TOEFL score of 79 on the IBT (Internet Based Test) or 6.5 on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
- The KAUST admissions code is 4107.
- Only official TOEFL or IELTS scores will be accepted.
- TOEFL or IELTS scores for tests administered by an educational institution for admission to that particular institution are not acceptable.
- A TOEFL or IELTS score is not required if the applicant received a degree from an accredited institution in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
- KAUST does not require the GRE exam for admission. However, it strongly encourages students to take the GRE general test.
- A high quantitative score on the GRE will enhance a student's application. Official test results should be sent directly from ETS. The KAUST admissions code is 4139. Note that the average GRE score for students admitted in 2010 was 780.
