Opportunity description

AfOx is pleased to announce graduate scholarships for the MBA program for the 2025-2026 academic year. This scholarship opportunity is the result of a partnership between the University of Oxford and the Mastercard Foundation, under the auspices of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program and the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx). In collaboration with the Saïd Business School Foundation, the program offers up to seven AfOx Graduate Scholarships for the 2025-2026 MBA cohort.

These scholarships are designed to support outstanding African nationals residing in African countries who demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing development on the continent. The scholarships cover full course fees for the Oxford MBA program and provide a grant for living expenses, ensuring that financial barriers do not impede the scholars’ educational and personal growth. This comprehensive financial support allows recipients to fully concentrate on their studies and professional development without the strain of financial concerns.

In addition to covering tuition and living costs, the AfOx Scholarships offer tailored training programs, extensive networking opportunities, and ongoing support throughout the program and beyond. This multifaceted support aims to enhance scholars’ academic experience and professional prospects, equipping them with valuable skills and connections. By investing in these scholars, the program seeks to foster significant contributions to Africa’s development, empowering future leaders to drive positive change across the continent.
