Opportunity description

The Egyptian Red Crescent is offering training courses in Arabic and English in the field of first aid basics. These courses target all categories of people (school and university students, club youth, housewives, employees and workers in companies, factories, banks... etc.).

Duration of courses:

The duration of the courses ranges from two to four consecutive days, including theoretical and practical training.


Location of courses:

The Egyptian Red Crescent has 10 training centers spread throughout the Arab Republic of Egypt, working to provide these courses to several parties, including: the government sector, civil society organizations, and international organizations.

  • Heart attack
  • Sudden airway obstruction
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
  • Drowning
  • Wounds
  • Bleeding

  • Abdominal, chest and eye injuries
  • Shock
  • Fainting and coma
  • Convulsions
  • Poisoning
  • diarrhea
  • Bites, stings and stings
  • Exposure to extreme heat or cold
  • Classification of injuries in cases of major accidents
  • Child injuries and their prevention

About the Egyptian Red Crescent Society:

The Egyptian Red Crescent Society is considered an auxiliary body to government authorities in times of peace and war, and its philosophy is based on civil activity and the voluntary efforts of members and volunteers. Being part of the international Red Cross/ Red Crescent movement, the Egyptian Red Crescent is guided by the seven principles of the movement; humanity, impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity, and Universality.
