The State of Qatar is pleased to host Expo 2023 Doha and welcomes participants from all over the world to this global event. This will be the first horticultural exhibition in a region with a desert climate, encouraging horticultural innovation focusing on climate, water, and soil sustainability which will last from October 2nd, 2023 to March 28th, 2024. The chosen theme for Expo 2023 in Doha is “Green Desert, Better Environment”, inspiring visitors by proposing solutions to promote a prosperous green life in the desert, in fruitful international cooperation.

Eligibility criteria
You should aware of the following criteria:
- Expo 2023 Doha, Qatar considers sustainable development pillar and will bring participating countries together around the theme “Green Desert, Better Environment”.
- Expo 2023 Doha, Qatar will host countries from all over the world as well as national and international organizations.
- Official Participants are States and Intergovernmental Organisations that have accepted the invitation of the State of Qatar to participate in Expo 2023 Doha.
- Exhibitors are governmental and non-governmental entities, organizations, private companies, and associations.
- Official Participants & Exhibitors are requested to reflect their interpretation of the theme and at least one of the sub-themes in each aspect of their participation.
- Participants should choose at least one of the following sub-themes to implement in the exhibition area:
- Modern Agriculture
- Technology & Innovation
- Environmental Awareness and Sustainability
Please note: Official Participation requires an official letter or Note Verbal approving participation sent through diplomatic channels.
