Egyptian American Film Festival for Cinema and Arts from the FilmFreeway Foundation in the USA

• The festival welcomes the participation of all participates without any conditions or restrictions.
• All Egyptian, Arab and international films in all languages can participate in this festival.
• The festival accepts films in their original DCP or BLUE RAY format.
• Any advertisements or notices that may be within participating works must be deleted before they are sent.
• Participating films will not be returned and will be kept in the festival library for research, documentation and educational purposes.
• You must upload the participating film according to the festival’s conditions.
• You should submit a movie trailer that is approximately 30 to 45 seconds long.
• It is required to have an artistic concept for the movie poster, such as the internationally and locally famous posters in this field, in A4 size.
• You must submit a synopsis of the film in English.
• You must provide information about the film's director and the most important artists and technicians involved in it.
• You must submit TV spots no longer than 3 minutes (promo).
• The festival will not pay any fees or costs to participants for screening their films.
• The festival administration has the right to accept or reject any work without giving reasons.
• The festival accepts feature films, short films, documentaries and mobile cinema. As for the mobile cinema section, the festival only accepts films that were filmed using (smartphones) or tablets, regardless of their type or model, provided that the maximum duration of the film does not exceed 3 minutes and is not less than 60 seconds.
• The participants must specify the type of device they used for photography while filling out the competition information on the festival’s official website.
• Filmmakers are allowed to use any editing style whether on their mobile phone or computer.
• All social topics are allowed, but the festival administration has the right to exclude films with a religious, political or immoral orientation.
• The festival reserves the right to exclude any film that exceeds the permissible duration or contains technical problems with audio and video that hinder its showing at the festival, or if it contains offensive, racist, or contrary material, or any films that are not related to the festival or the films that participated in it. 
• Films participating in the various sections of the festival will be selected by screening and selection committees formed by the festival administration from critics and filmmakers.
• By sharing the film with the festival administration, the filmmaker grants the festival administration the right to upload it and use it for display before the jury, as well as to use parts of the film in festival advertisements and on the festival’s official website. Otherwise, all rights to the film remain reserved to the film producer/director.
• The rights of others may not be infringed by using music or clips from other works.
• It will not be permitted to withdraw any film from the festival’s program during its holding period or show it outside the exhibition venues designated for the festival.
• The festival administration grants a certificate of participation to the director of each film screened in it.
