Developing Countries Training Programme (DCTP)
Overview:
Singapore and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) established the Developing Countries Training Programme (DCTP) in 2001. Sponsored by the Government of Singapore and managed by the ICAO Technical Cooperation Bureau, the DCTP has been renewed for another three years (from April 2022 to March 2025). The program offers 330 fellowships and 10 scholarships to government officials from eligible ICAO member states to attend specialized training programs provided by the Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA). To date, 220 fellowships and 10 scholarships have been awarded.

- Fellowships cover course fees, hotel accommodation, and a daily allowance.
Eligibility for the Developing Countries Training Programme:
- Applicants must have the approval/nomination from the Director General of Civil Aviation or equivalent.
- Organizations should nominate only one candidate per course due to the limited number of fellowships available.
- Applicants' job qualifications/portfolio should match the required course.

- Nomination form endorsed by the direct reporting officer (Part 1) and the Director General of Civil Aviation or equivalent (Part 2). A copy of the nomination form can be found.
