Opportunity description

Applications are open for the DAAD University Summer Courses 2024/2025. This program aims to deepen knowledge of the German language (general and technical) and regional studies. Courses last at least 18 teaching days (max. 5 days/week, excluding arrival/departure days) with at least 25 teaching hours per week. Courses typically take place between June and September.

Scholarship Benefits:

  • One-time scholarship payment of 1,192 Euros; scholarship holders from Least Developed Countries receive 1,367 Euros.
  • Country-specific travel allowance (see: travel allowance).
  • Health, accident, and personal liability insurance.

Eligibility:

  • Undergraduate and master’s degree students in all disciplines are eligible.
  • Undergraduate students must have completed at least two academic years by the scholarship start date.
  • Grant holders must be at least 18 years old at the course start date.
  • Applicants must demonstrate commitment to sustainability.
  • Applicants must be able to follow lectures in German and participate in group work. German language skills must be proven at the time of application.
