BBA Photography Prize up to €3700 and More

BBA Gallery is accepting entries for 2023 BBA Photography Prize. All themes welcome.

Visual excellence, storytelling, conceptual thinking, technical craftsmanship, subject depth, and understanding – these are just a few aspects that our jury of industry professionals will take into consideration. Whether you are a seasoned photographer with an existing track-record, a promising talent starting your journey, or simply enthusiastic about photography, the BBA Photography Prize 2023 is a great opportunity to show your work.

• 1st prize: cash prize €1500, solo show at BBA gallery, and artsy profile.
• 2nd prize: cash prize €1000 and artsy profile.
• 3rd prize: cash prize €700 and artsy profile.
• People’s choice award: cash prize €500 and artsy profile.
• MPD award: pr package including promotion.

1. 20+ photographers selected by BBA will exhibit in Kühlhaus Berlin, a 600 sqm venue, in October/ November 2023. 
2. We will also award 5
3. prizes including international exposure and cash prizes. 1st prize winner
4. receives a solo show at BBA Gallery.
5. The MPB Award: During
6. the 4 month open call, 5 photographers will be selected by BBA directors each
7. month and MPB will choose 1 finalist. By the major award night MPB will award 1 winner from these 4 finalists.
8. Promotion each day on BBA Prizes social media via Pick of Day/week

1. Anyone 18+ can apply - all genders and nationalities welcome
2. Submit up to 15 images - this entitles you to be eligible for the long and shortlist and show your photographs at our exclusive exhibition in Berlin. 
3. No restrictions on experience or social / educational background.

Fees:

€39.00 instead of €49.00

The following information will be requested once you have paid the application fee:

1. Name, address, contact information, website
2. Statement (300 words max.)
3. CV + Exhibitions List
4. Work information (Title, medium, size, edition, year of creation)
5. Up to 15 images (up to 3 MB per file)
