Jude Higgins, Jane Riekemann and Alison Woodhouse are organizing the Bath Short Story Award 2025. The competition is open to entrants aged 16 and over.
Deadline: March 31, 2025
Eligibility:
- Stories can be on any theme or subject but must be original and written in English. They must also be for adult or young adult readers.
- Maximum length is 2,200 words.
- Entries must not have been previously published in print or online, been broadcast or won a prize.
- Entry fee: \u00a39 for each story submitted.
Prizes:
- 1st prize: \u00a31,000
- 2nd prize: \u00a3300
- 3rd prize: \u00a3100
- Acorn Award for an unpublished writer: \u00a3100
