The University of Melbourne invites International students to a fully funded master’s scholarships in a broad range of subject areas. It provides approximately 30 opportunities, in two annual cycles to study for a two-year Master's degree in unique environments across the globe. These scholarships are a life-changing opportunity to experience a new country and culture, to broaden your horizons, and to build a global network that will last a lifetime.
Benefits
If you get this scholarship, you will have:
- Fully funded tuition fees.
- Living expenses allowance (stipend) for the duration of the award.
- Return economy flights to the host country.
- An arrival allowance.
- Research support grant – subject to approval.
Eligibility criteria
You should follow the following criteria:
- To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- Have already completed your degree and have graduated with an equivalent of a 2:1 at the time of application.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree of at least the upper second level.
- Apply for a Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarship award in a country other than your home country/country of citizenship.
- Committed to creating change in your community.
- The awards are only hosted by low and middle-income countries.
- The QECS will only fund Master’s courses with a maximum duration of two years.
- Each year there are two opportunities to apply for QECS – cycle 1 opens in November/December and cycle 2 opens in March/April.
- You only need to submit one application, but you are welcome to apply more than once if there is another country you are interested in studying in.
- The QECS awards are for full-time courses taught in person on campus only.
- There is no upper age limit to be eligible for a QECS Award.
- The requirement for English language testing depends on the university that you are intending to study at.
