Qatar Museums Foundation announces an art exhibition entitled “Artist Residency 8: A House sees the World” in Qatar.
Eligibility criteria
- The exhibition explores the idea of home within a contemporary context and raises questions about identity and belonging through the eyes of 17 artists who participated in the Fire Station’s 2023–2024 Artist Residency Programme.
- The artists here share diverse narratives and emotions that revolve around three explorations: environmental, social and cultural.
- It is evident that there is a direct link between individual identity and the concept of urban identity, which revolves around the relationship of man with his environment and surroundings.
- This exhibition will be located in Gallery 4, at the Fire Station.
