Opportunity description
Al Shaqab Foundation announces a volunteer opportunity to participate in organizing the events carried out by the Foundation in all its facilities in Qatar. The Al Shaqab Volunteer Program aims to support Al Shaqab Foundation by providing the necessary human resources through the active participation of volunteers in all activities organized at Al Shaqab facilities.
Duties & responsibilities
The Friends of Al Shaqab Volunteer Program is committed to the following:
- Increase awareness among all local communities in Qatar, especially Qatari citizens, of the importance and value of volunteer work.
- Creating a friendly and hospitable environment that embraces different ideas, knowledge, cultures and experiences.
- Treat all members, volunteers and staff with integrity, dignity and respect.
- Improving the quality of life of individuals and the well-being of communities through volunteer work.
- The valuable contributions made by volunteers are essential to the success of the local and international equestrian tournaments hosted and organized by Al Shaqab and receive a great deal of its attention and appreciation.
Eligibility criteria
- All those wishing to volunteer in the organization can apply for this opportunity.
- Priority will be given to volunteers who have previously participated in the organization's previous events.
- Al Shaqab Center also encourages all citizens and residents of Qatar to join the “Friends of Al Shaqab” volunteer team, which was established locally at the initiative of the organization’s Human Resources Department, and which aims to encourage members of the local community to play an active role in organizing and supporting various tournaments and events.
